Hi my dad and i are refiberglassing a small dingy.. it would be helful if any one has any ideas or tips on how to redo it.. This is a small boat and we are going to put on a new layer or fiberglass! The ideas we need are:
    • The diffrent steps
    • Tricks or tips when applying the fiberglass
    • and anyhting else you can tell me!

The only thing is how do you put fiberglass on the boat so that there are no bubbles!
My dad said if you paint on the resin then put on the fiberglass it will leave bubbles!
Is this true and if yes then how do you do it correctly!
If someone has posted an awnser to this before please give me a link!

You use a metal roller made for glass work to squeeze the bubbles out.
