% of styrene in polyester resin for wood bonding

Does some one have information about what is the % of stryrene to put in polyester resin for a good bonding on wood?

I think that is 10% but I'm not sure

You should to begin with, never bond wood with a polyester type of resin.
This type of bonding will delaminate sooner or later.
Use Aerodux - or epoxy.

Sorry, I maybe dont use the good words. I mean about bonding fiberglass laminate on wood or laminate fiberglass directly on wood. I read something about use of styrene to dilute the polyester resin and help the impregnation in wood for the first layer. I look for Aerodux and it's look like a glue (wood to wood)

No, I did understood you well: For two reason you shouldn't do it 1) using it for glassing, you do it for a limited amount of time. Sooner or later - in a timespan of 10-15 years, the bond will come loose, delaminate. Polyester on wood is not a permanent bond. Face that as a reality; 2nd reason - polyester resin is NOT watertight - Very, very slowly it sucks up water like a sponge does, it reaches the inside wood and there, the delamination process begins.
Aerodux 500 - a resorcinol Phenol Formaldehyde type glue is for bonding, not for
laminating -
Cheers,

Do you have a solution for the transom core?
Most boatbuilder use Plywood. But if I remove wood from my plan, I try to remove all of it.

Hmmm, my French is somewhat sloppy, but for transom cores I can recommend the glass-filled high density polyurethane that seems to be common in the USA.
