Sothern Mexico Boat Business

I live in southern mexico within minutes of the Pacific. The fishing business is huge yet there are only two boat builders and they use a very basic if not rustic style of boat. Most fishermen are afraid to take them into the open waters of the ocean so they stick to the calm waters in the bays. I would like to establish a boat manufactuering business using newer molds etc.
1st is there a place to purchase used molds?
2nd What would you suggest as a first step, besides knowing the market.
any direction or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Take a look in Cabo san Lucas Baja Sur ......... lots of seaworthy boats there.
Many are built in Mexico. Good Luck!!!!!! what area of Mexico are you from?
