Number one
never lay up over oil based paint !!ALWAYS USE A 2 POT URETHANE .
Number two
The minimum draw is 1.5 degrees on all surfaces !!!
number three
Radius need to be as big as is possible to suit the item you are making ! 4 mm to 10mm radius
Dont forget when you make a plug make it so you can dismantle it piece by piece from inside the mould not tear the mould apart .
If you have a intricate part the spray a coat of watered down PVA first then was over the top . When you put pva on you can not build up coats just thickness !! And thats the complete opossite to how you should be using PVA . The spray should be so fine that if you can see it on the mould you have to much . I always thin the pva with water about 60% and spray very very very fine . if done properly you dont even need any wax at all !!
