yes you can make money building boats
BUT you must have at least 6 men, to start aking real money.,
You must find a niche, something that has little competition
Or some high end product that is built to a standard and not down to a price
The way I got started was to build a spec boat, from there I found orders I stayed small, max 10 men, that way the headaches were not collosal
There are people making big money with poor products, unfortunately, I can not name them here.
It is easiest to get into metal ocean cruisers, specialist boats
Also there is a market for good rowing dories, like using the fitness angle, in grp . This would me small money to start off with, making a couple of moulds, and a lightweight trailer to tow behind a small car Two pair oar dories for lake and river would be what I would choose with clashed mahog seats, and sheer cap picked out also in mahog or whatever
Maybe rent an old building or farm shed
Just like HP did!!
go get it
