| Resin grip to carbon Does anyone know how well vinyl ester resin gips to carbon as opposed to glass fabric? Is it close to the same, or does it grip better on one or the other? Thanks! -jim lee |

We just been chatting about vinylester resin and grip to the fibres on another thread about rubber toughened epoxy resin and how it never lets go . Glass you need a 100 mm over lap for a high stress area , with carbon you need 1000mm same situation using the same vinylester resin !! ![]()

| e/glass saturates carbon incapsulates. carbon must be coated or treated so v/e resin sticks to the sizing that is stuck to the carbon. |
