Resin grip to carbon

Does anyone know how well vinyl ester resin gips to carbon as opposed to glass fabric? Is it close to the same, or does it grip better on one or the other?

Thanks!

The resin grip of Vinylester is like asking how long is a piece of string , you have to be a little more spacific about which and what vinylester are you refering to if you want a truthfull answer.
We just been chatting about vinylester resin and grip to the fibres on another thread about rubber toughened epoxy resin and how it never lets go .
Glass you need a 100 mm over lap for a high stress area , with carbon you need 1000mm same situation using the same vinylester resin !!

Well, I guess no one here really knows huh? I try in "materials" and see if anyone bites.

Forward to materials

e/glass saturates carbon incapsulates. carbon must be coated or treated so v/e resin sticks to the sizing that is stuck to the carbon.
