Replacing wooden bulk head on glass boat

I have an older silverton glass hull, glass over wood upper, the bulkhead that seperates the interior from from the aft deck is soft. What is the best material to replace it with and where can i get it. I need to make two panels each
3/4 thick 6'6" x 48". White would save re finishing.

I have just completed it on my 36 trojan, best bet I found was a company called Space Age Synthetics

Thanks for the info, did the surface require finishing? and what density did you use? easy to cut?

I would use marine grade plywood.
and finsh any way you like.

the surface is sanded, so you have to smooth out the joints regardless. the hatch is epoxied and needs to be faired big time.

Is that Space Age Synthetics board on the floor in your pict? Which type and thickness did you use?

While speaking with Space Age and planning the project, I ran out of time and then of course was about to lose my storage so we went the old plywood and epoxy route. With this said I am still stuck with fairing this year and finishing inorder to throw out the cheap carpet I put over the sole last year. It would have been much easier using their product.

i am again going to recommend COOSABOARD , it is ridgid like plywood and after it has been put in place and glassed will leave you with a straight surface requiring the least amount of fairing . Fiaring isn't too hard using a product like f-26 ,it sands easy and will give you a nice surface to paint .
