I agree on the epoxy price point, but just skim coated a 10X12 cockpit with it for the sealant properties. Its EXPENSIVE!!!!!

Please post your prices and suppliers when debating epoxy and polyester. One persons "expensive" is affordable to others.

Also, quantities count a lot for pricing and for a good direction to take for a project. A barrel of epoxy resin and a barrel of polyester resin may cost about the same. The curing agents may be quite different in price.

I have no experience with polyester, it smells too bad for me. Knowing the price difference is of interest tho.
