| Good, glad I could help! Thru hulls are a weak link in the whole floating boat plan. Even though a 1" hole might not sink you in a New York minute, it can do it pretty quick. If you don't notice it untill you notice the boat is lower in the water or is handling real sluggish, or the engine quits from being flooded or the battery shorts out, you're sort of screwed because you probably won't be able to find the hole to plug it, as it will be under murky water and your too busy panicking to find it! Stuff happens quick in boats and planes. When do you plan to move your HB to your place? Sam |

| It sits waiting in Patoka Lake, IN.. The 1st. of MAY we will truck it to the Ohio @ Evansville. Dry dock her, install the FLS and other little projects (doating the bottom/outdrive). Let her cure for a couple weeks andhead her South. 800 miles to Louisiana. Should be back to crabbing & shrimping by August (We plan on a slow, safe trip). Ever since I read the book, I always wanted to be Huck Finn.

| That is a really good idea that sam sam has there just a little advice though ,i wouldn't use 5200 as the caulking or you may end up having to destroy your sea chest anyhow if you need to get it apart . i have had to put a 4x4 on things sealed down with 5200 to get them clear of the boat ,sounds like a big story but it is true. |

| 3M4200, better I think. I was told yesterday that there is a new solvent for 5200 now, making removal easier. Thanks,
