| putting casting deck in a tri-hull i have recently been thinking of transforming my tri-hull into a bass boat, and was thinking about putting a casting deck in the front of the boat ahead of the councol, well it is 5 foot across and about 3 feet deep, currently there is a cooshin all the way around the bow, and has the traditional foot space in the center of the floor, well my question is, do i need to put a supporting beam in the center of the boat were essentially there is no support. i dont know if i need to put a 2x4 in the middle of that or not, also i have never done this before, so if anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated. i dont have any information on how to do this. and any other info, on making my tri-hull more like a bass boat would help. thanx.... | Could you post some photos? "Tri-hull" encompasses such a huge variety of shapes it's hard to tell without an image or three.
