Prepping Epoxy for Duratec ?

Need a tried and true method for prepping a fiberglass hull prior to the application of Durotec vinylester fairing primer. Had some problems in the past and need some input from some folks that have some history with this material. We plan on top coating with Awlgrip after the final fairing.
Thanks in advance, Chris
