| Power Cat Plans I´m new to boatbuilding and looking for plans for a 38-42 foot power cat with a flybridge that I could scale down to one third scale for a practice run using foam core fiberglass sandwich construction. My eventual plan is to build the full scale model once I´m comfortable with the construction methods. If anybdy could guide me to some plans to build the mold I would be much appreciative. |

| Trailerable Swing-wing TriCat!!! Check out the boat below....Designer owns Quorning Boats in Denmark. This is a swing-wing TriCat and its trailerable. I haven't contacted the designer yet to see if plans are available for the Dragonfly 920...so if you happen to find a set drop me a line at ptstudio@rochester.rr.com. If I get a chance to build this boat, I don't think the trailer will be much of an issue for me starting out as I'd be GONE for a month or two once I launched it. http://dragonfly-trimarans.org/dragonfly_920.htm |

| What would you be using it for? How fast do you want to go? Check out the power catamaran in my gallery! It's a 24'er, but I've got some sketches for a 36'er with a flybridge in aluminum. I have experience in fiberglass too. I'll see what I can find. Be aware, that catamarans like that can look gawky.

| RE: Power Cat Plans Thunderhead19, I plan to use it for daytrips fishing for marlin off the pacific coast of Mexico and to hop ports down the coast to central America. The fishing grounds I want to hit are about 50 miles off the coast of San Blas so it should be fairly fast to make the trip in reasonable time. I´m hoping with the flybridge and low angles up front I can make it look somewhat stylish. |
