polypropylene core and lindsay lord

    Instead of using a low grade softwood for strip planking in a lindsay lord boat building method, would nida core suffice? I'm just wondering if the added thickness required to give the adequate strength would be offset by the lower density of the core.

    No, they rely on two different engineering concepts to be effective structural elements.
