| Plug work I have a plug that has some stress cracks. The cracks are not deep. Should I route out the crack, fill, wet sand and buff, or should I sand the area, and then Duratec. |

| V the cracks down to the bottom, as far in as they go,,fill, sand, spray, wet sand, buff, frekote(or whatever release agent) and use to make more money hehe ,,,least thats all i would do to them,,,other then finding out what caused them in the first place, and fix that too ![]()

| You are probably only going to use the plug once. For a plug, I would just fill the cracks with paste wax or clay, smooth out and make the mold. Carefully scrape and buff out any problems in the mold. |
