| I used cheap Danish scissors since they'll be ruined in no time. The one thing I did do that makes cutting easier and leaves no frayed cuts, I marked my lines then I spayed 3M glue on the line on one side. Let it dry and cut perfect shapes without the weave falling apart. It won't hurt the resin soak or lay-up any. Try it. |

| Eh Mark, Don't use scissors for cutting glass, it'll get buggered up quickly. Instead get yourself one of these cutting wheels or round blade things, whatever they're called. Mine has gone through probably 10 rolls of glass and it still works great. I also got 2 sheets of 6mm pollyprop sheets, 1m x 2m each to do the glass cutting on. They don't cut easily and doesn't blunt the blade.

| THANKS !! Those are two excellent suggestions, I really like the spray glue idea. I have had issues with the cloth unraveling or even matt backed that has a raggedy edge after cutting. Is the roller like what they use for cutting squares for making quits ? I asked my Mother, I am not really sure. Fanie where did you get yours Mark |

| We have what we call hardware stores here in SA. You should get out more ![]() The small cutter is for the small tri I'm building, the big one is for the big cat I'm starting on soon ![]() The 3m spray is expensive, I enquired a week or so ago.

| I thought I was pretty up on my tools I am a tool freak, but have to admit I have never laid eyes on on of those babies. Those would'nt be for quilting ! Is it sold as a general purpose cutter, or a specialized tool for something |

| I thought everybody had these (just not you )Print the picture. Go to the hardware store. Show thw guy. Tell him 'bring' (or else )Nothing cuts glass like those little wheels. Scissors takes very long and is a waste of time. Btw, they are supposed to patiented (whatever that means) in the USA, amongst a few other places Says so on the cutter. It's not a specialized tool for 'something', unless glass is something. It's just a muscled up pizza cutter with a sharp blade, so mind your fingers.

| A hardware store is where men go to do their shopping. After payday follow the guys around, skip the ones that go to the bar. Most of the others is either going boating (fishing) and those not heading for the water works on their boats, so follow that crowd. You're bound to end up in the right place ![]() You're welcome, and good luck with cutting the itchy stuff ![]()

| Those Olfa rotary cutters are first rate. A proper surface (sacraficial or self healing) is a definite plus though. They'll zip through fabrics like buttah! I got mine at "FabricLand"! Ok let me have it but it's a neat store. I've gotten plenty of fabrics there to try as peelply, flow media and breather for infusion & vac bagging so don't knock it till ya tried it! ![]()
