fisrt forget making a mould what u have o do is make a plug which is a modle of the part u are making, after u make this plug you will make a mould off it,so how to make a plug u could take a excesting spoiler and do some changes u want , or with wood and bondo after u do this u can make a mould, nowadays cnc routiers do the work using mdf or foam but its fun doing it oldschool

Building a livewell in jet boat

I am trying to build a live well in the front area of my jet boat, it is fiberglass so i will be using the floor and sides and just need to add on a back and top, i can buy store bought hatches for the top or make them too. Please help, dont know where to start, how do i make the back panel, do i make it all out of fiberglass or cut a board to shape and fiberglass it, etc...

we gelcoat diffrently down here we first apply gelcoat usually in 3 layers with a polypot let it set than wet out our choped strand and place it on the mould followed by however many other reinforcements rolling out all air between layers as this makes the final rolling out procedure ahell of a lot eiser. as for the second question i have no idea
