| Need some help in Canada (Ottawa) I purchased a brand new bowrider last summer and after 2 weeks the gelcoating started to crack at various places on the boat. I now find myself in a legal battle with the manufacturer. I cannot seem to find a "fiberglass and gelcoat expert" to give me an opinion as to why the cracks have appeared. I cant believe that boat building is so much of a black art that there are no specifications out there for standard fiberglass and gelcoat thicknesses for a 17 foot bowrider. I have pictures to show and would greatly appreciate any advice I can get. Thank you. |
