Need quick advice on cloth....

Heres what Im attempting to do. False floor in my Gheenoe. Length of the purposed floor is 84". Width is 15". Stringer height 2".

I plan on laying up a solid sheet of glass, then using a series of stringers, or U shaped supports straight down the middle.

Heres the question: For the large sheet (84" x 15") would 2 layers 1.5oz be strong enough (in addition to the support of the stringers). Or should I use something heavier like 12oz plain, or 1708?

Note: The sheet will be poly/glass. All bonds will be epoxy.
