| Need help with fairing compond I have been making major modifications to a 26' John Allmand and have been mixing glass micro-balloons with polyester resin. The home-made mix does not spread as easy as the store bought stuff. Should I switch the type of filler I am using or should I using this mix for the rough fairing and switch to a high build primer for final fairing? If I use the high build primer should I use the Duratec (gray) or something else? Thanks for the help. |

| Use a bit of silica powder to make the microballoons behave. Yoke. |
