| need advice making a master mould from hull Hi there, Can anyone offer any advice on how to take a fibreglass mould from an existing 16ft hull? I would like to make a copy of my boat for a family member, as they always say this is a lovely old shape boat! What would be the basic procedure and can it be done quite easily? I have plenty of marine experience, mercruiser I/O, repairs using fibreglass, etc., and would like to attempt to make a mould from my hull, then a positive of the boat. I'd be interested to hear from anyone who has done this before and what to look out for. thx |
