| making new shaped parts from old designs I have an old fg boat from years ago. I would like to use the old boat again, but would like to change some of the cosmetic shapes. Is there a resonable way to do this? can I add clay or some workable substance to the boat, shape it the way I like, gelcoat and then have something worth using? what about reshaping in some fashion, then making a mold off of it, and popping a new part to use for myself? thanks a bunch |

| Are you talking hull or deckhouse, the second is much easier to change then the first.

| dutch, it would be the hull. Mainly where the hull attatches to the top deck, not the actual wet running surface. |
