One the other hand, it would make a stylish flower planter in the front yard. Your neighbors will love you for such an artful touch to their street. Maybe spray paint the house number on the side, just to help out the mailman.

Man it's a shame that you're giving up the ship, or am I the only retard that will take a 40 year old hull and rebuild it from bare glass just for the "fun" of it. Maybe I'm breathing the same damn fumes Jim is.....LOL

Don't feel bad Danny, I've torn the deck and liner out of a Catalina 22' look-a-like, now having just a 'glass shell and centerboard case. I'm going to build a open day boat, rigged as a yawl. Teak decks, mahogany comings, birdsmouth spars and cedar sole grates, just to piss off the guy I bought it from ($500), who thought it was useless. It's 36 years old.

Remember, I live in the center of "Redneck country" but
one of the favorite boat building things around here is
the fiberglass top of the old UPS delivery van, just a bit of work
and they are out on the lake in the things!

They look like this:

Great deal PAR! I just find it hard to cut my losses sometimes LOL. And BHOFM, I'd love to see one of those in action!
