Literature & tools and infos

Hello,

I would like to know more about up to date boat building techniques (no timber but full infused) and searching for modern yacht design and construction techniques references.
I know and read Gougeons and common 'Amazon' offering but was looking for more technical and modern processes.
Like CNC mold making, hull & structure infused one shot, efficient composites panels assembly and finishing, one shot autoclaved foils, filament winding vs autoclaved tubes, ect

I'm not aware of the source to get naval architecture courses books, any info ?

Do you pro boatbuilders have efficient xls files to share in order to structure a serie construction planning, or workshop ?

It would be friendly to recommend intresting PDF or literature, must read, ect

Thanks

try IBEX (International Boatbuilders Expo)
http://www.ibexshow.com/

they have seminars available on topics such as:
vacuum infusion
material properties
electrical
standards
university studies

They will provide you with literatue and talk you through it.

you can also choose to take courses at the following
http://www.boatdesign.net/web/schools.htm
Westlawn in an online naval architecture school

The Landing School is the best in my opinion. The boatbuilding program starts you with blueprints made from their yacht design program and takes you through every step including lofting, finishing, and sea trials.

Also, you could just do a search on Amazon for "boatbuilding" or "naval architecture" and see what books are available and read other customers reviews on the books
