| Laminate resin weight and volume fraction Good evening I have searched all over the net and the forum and cannot seem to find this information. I have a carbon prepreg that has 50% resin by weight, how do I calculate the fibre volume fraction? Help would be very appreciated. Thanks |

| Jacobe, The density of carbon is about 1.7, resins are a little more variable, usually around 1.1 or so. Yoke. |
