Infusion vs old style bagging?

What is the gain in glass content when using infusion compared to old style wet layup and then vacuum bag? Other structural advantages?

Based on my limited experience I'd say the difference is negligible. The method chosen would be dependant on the part being produced. Infusing a part results in a little bit less waste (breather material) and much cleaner (less epoxy all over the place).

You might find there's less chance of air bubles in the finished part using infusion. It probably comes back to how well the wet layup was set up in the first place. Realisticly there should be insignificant variation in the end result between the two types of layup.
