I have never seen plastic stretched by heating used as a vacuum bag.For complex shapes that are intended for production in large quantities would it be worth investing in a tailored silicone bag?

If it is a sandwich part you can make foam filler pieces for the corners.

You can actually cut your bag and gipe pieces of bag together using a sealant like 3m 5200 or even butyl tape.

Never had that problem ,Jack Just use a very wide piece of bag film and stuff it in there ,so what about the pleats and wrinkles.debulk the bag very slowly and watch for any pulling.
