Gas driven hydraulic generators - regulations?

We install hydraulic generators - gas driven - to power winches on board of our vessels. The gererators are mounted in a compartment above the main gas tank for the outboard engine. We are trying to find US regulations for such installation in order to sell our work boats in the US - anyone have a address for a official govt. website that gives the regulations and/or guidelines for such installations? (as we know - outboard engines has no power outlet to run a hydraulic pump???) www.geocities.com/gilmarine2003/
