Up until know I have always used small of fiberglass mat for repairs, buying only a few yards at a time from a local hardware store, I'm thinking about laying up a hull and was wondering if anyone could give me information where I could buy fiberglass material in larger quantities and hopefully at a lower price than small cut portions, Either internet suppliers or New Orleans area suppliers would be even better. Thanks in advance for any information, Phillip

Heres another link you may want to check out. I've never bought glass from them but have bought several other items and have had great service

I buy full roll stock from Composite One but they may be a little far for shipping.Ebay is another great source for cloth. Most auctions are nothing but an advertisment for a store and these buys can bring the very best prices you'll find

    Good Luck

    Hello Ssor.

I can get prices for you, but an example for some stuff shipped recently was USD2.20 per kilo by air Abu Dhabi to Atlanta with British Airways, may be limitations on shipping chemicals/liquids

Thank you Saeed, I think that when we combine the air freight and the motor freight costs we are approaching the cost of the fabric in USA.
