Fiberglass Flat Panels: Sources needed

Hi;

I need flat fiberglass panels: 1/8" to 3/8" thick and 4x8 or 4x12 long.

Please send links or locations of any sources for these!

Hey BillB, how are ya. I just happen to make fiberglass panels. I can make them any thickness you want, and you can have the option of a double-sided panel, which means that it is finished on both sides. White high-gloss gelcoat, or even a textured finish if you would prefer. So get back to me man, I'd be glad to help you out.
Freebird.

Fiberglass Panels

Hello again.
This is great; I used to live in Boot Key Harbor, up the road from you a bit. I'm sure you know where it is. My location now is Victoria, B.C, Canada.
I am the Head of a new division, Tirling Infusion Dept., with Tirling Industries, a well-established company for 25 years now. The different divisions are Refrigeration, Sheet Metal, Custom Plastics Creations, and now Infusion. We are working on a web-page, but don't have it up yet. It is expected to be ready within the next two months.
I have created a way of making fiberglass panels that are finished on both sides. Of course I can also make them unfinished on one side, both sides, or whatever you need. Send me full specs, and I can send you a quote, and a time estimation of when I can get them to you.
I wish I could deliver them myself- I miss it down there!
Looking forward to hearing from you,
Sincerely,
Freebird.

You could try cutting out the soft spots ether square or rectangle . Cut extruded aluminum 2" x 2" x 1/4" angle about 2 inches larger than the hole on 2 sides . and the other 2 cut to lenght after the first 2 are installed. . Drill and counter sink the deck about 1 inch from the edge of the hole with 1/4 inch drill, 3 holes per side . silicone glue and clamp the angle in place so that it sticks out about an inch inside the hole. Then drill the angle from the holes you already drilled . Use flat head screws and brass lock nuts to secure the angle and your patch with self drilling screws. I would use treated plywood for the hole patch if it is no larger than 1' x 1' It will last forever and carpet over . As for correct thickness ??? laminate the wood ??? If it is a larger section Then frame out the hole as before . Use the angle and use it also as a " joist" to span the hole ( no more that 1' on centers) You can laminate and build up the patch out of fiberglass mat to the correct thickness ( build a panel). if you didnt want to use treated ply . Caulk all the seems . Plan on carpeting the deck . Thats the only way to hide the patch . Hope this helps
