Exterior fiberglass repair

Just bought a 19-6 AquaSport and it looks like some ones kid went to the back of the transom with a hatchet and knocked some chips out. There are also some small stress cracks and what not to be addressed. Should I just pack the chips with glass or some sort of bondo??? Should I apply some gel coat afterwards?? Never really done this before but would like to make it look nice like the rest of the boat. Any help is appreciated. Thx!!!

Aaron,

If you have never done this before, start with looking through all the posts in this forum! I'm sure this repair has been posted before.
