epoxy weight

    can anyone tell me if the liquid weight of epoxy is the same as when it has cured? (west 105 and slow hardener)

    I think it's very close, there is no solvents to dissipate.

    Marine laminating resin is 100% solids content, meaning the hardener combines with the resin, in a chemical reaction, to form a new molecule. No solvents out gas or other materials leave the mixture, once the two parts are brought together. Penetrating resin is usually heavily laden with solvents, some of which will flash off and leave the mixture, before it hardens.
