Epoxy health problems

Gents I would like to know how and when did you have health problems after working with epoxy.

What happened
after how long
everything - skin - nose - eyes - nausea - all the little details

what did your doctor say - what medicine - what to do - what not

which epoxy and what ratio of hardener to epoxy (18:100 or 65:100)

I and my family have NO PROBLEMS with epoxy
I am building my boat in my garage always with open doors and well ventilated BUT i have read some "funny" stories - hence the quest for the info

so the question is what happened to you, how and when

please guys dont post **** about your ******* uncle's aunty that had a stupid ******* cousin that read the label of an epoxy bottle that said this stuff is poisonous and therefore his capacity for masturbating has diminished from once a week to once a month - go wank elsewhere

phew - and with that said and done - lets get the facts
after all life's ok

need crew urgently

He is as ugly as a old sack can be, and she must show IT to the public to get attention...............

To the EP question,

irritations and or sensitations occur only when you have skin contact with the uncured mix or the hardener.

None of my workers ever build up a allergy over the past 35 years! But direct contact is strictly avoided!

Several of the former wood / EP workers went (unwillingly) into the new production line in Vinylester, none of them is happy with that.

A few years ago, before we started to produce in GRP we asked them who is willing to produce the new (much larger) line. ALL said, NO if it is polyester!

These are not the best educated, nor the brightest guys one can find, but they know their jobs quite well and are aware of possible risks.

Regards
Richard

I have not had any reaction to epoxy but I researched a little and found this may be useful to you. Not my uncle or anyone I am related to.: http://www.crosslinktech.com/health%20&%20safety.htm

Marriage isn't always what it's cracked up to be.

Like he should complain. When they were together he apparently didn't even give her enough money for a decent pair of underwear! What a tightwad.
