The guys over at Airtech are great for all closed molding needs. Theres a set of ceramic scissors that are pretty expensive for cutting kevlar, they cut great and don't wear out but if you use them to cut anything but kevlar, it kills the little ceramic serrations on them. I forget the name of who makes them and they run about $500 per pair or so (or at least they used too) kevlar can be a pain and with the properties of "S" glasses these days, they are almost as good as the Aramid fibers, and alot easier to use and cheaper to purchase.

The ceramic edge makes sense, I will try using, if I can find one a ($5) ceramic wheel in a dremel tool. I bet a diamond grit stone would also do the job. After lay-up if I'm left with over hang I cut it off with a grinder using a cutting wheel. This would be a little awkward to handle on a cutting table.

| heres the answer you place a Beaver on the floor and straddle it as if you were going to ride the sucker. Grab the back of his head while sliding the Kevlar through his jaws and rapidly jerk his jaws up and down. sorta like a Canadian sewing machine in reverse. Dont try this at home, you;ll end up divorced. ![]()

Time to Chow-Down buckknekkid, lunch is on its way. caught a beaver trying to sneak aboard .... too bad for the little fella. "Us" Canucks are cruel, when it comes to a sneaky beaver, first we kill it then we eat it and send the leftovers to our pals.

Do the rotary cloth cutters work well on all types of cloth. I guess the real question is ......... are these little cutters a better option then using a utility knife and a straight edge. "Enough about Beaver I need boat info"
