i am going to convert a 16ft fibreglass catamaran powerboat into a dory, dont know if anyones ever tried this, i am looking for suggestions, my thought would be to add a new nose between the existing 2 ending up in a shallow v at the back, using plywood to fibreglass the shape.

as i say im hoping for suggestions,

    great forum and thanks

The beam to length ratio of a cat would make your dory extremely wide.
