Cloth Types Is there somewhere that describes what the difference is and when to use cloth vs roving vs mat vs ??? Also... what type of fiber to use. I was thinking about using Isophthalic High-Strength Resin becuase I need something FDA approved for what I'm doing.

Small projects usually use woven cloth, larger projects use alternating layers of roving (or heavy cloth) and mat. FDA approval is more concerned with the resin and the finish - the cloths are mostly inert.

Also I will be using CDX plywood for the mold. Do I need to seal it so the resin does not get absorbed by the plywood?
