C-flex

why isn't this stuff more popular? It seems like you could save some time using this material.

My understanding..

Is that layups using C-Flex yield a fiber / resin content of 1:1 which is about twice the amount of resin found in other layups.. There are several tables calling out fiber/resin % based on lay-up type (infusion vs. vaccuum vs. wetlay-up) All are significantly better than the C-Flex..

Additionally, my understanding is that the C-Flex is intended to be used with a special polyester resin and not epoxies or vinylesters...

The Seamans webste calls out these specs...

Cheers..
