| Larry, Like Engineers and Naval Architects, they develop specialties. One may be good in one aspect but poor on another one one but does not make him/her less. War whoop is an experienced boatbuilder. He is very good in what he is doing. The teacher is economics. Most of us try to make a living and if the profession we chose gives us comfortable living we stick by it and become better each time. I have been here long enough to see there are senior members here who are world class. Some are good in design, well versed in class rules, some are very very experienced boatbuilders, and some are good in manufacturing operations. They are unselfish and I know some of them and I have great respect for them. We also have members who are mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, structural, ect. Large companies even employ mathematician and statistician. You just have to read carefully what they are saying before you spar with them. And War Whoop is not the guy. If you want war, war whoop will give it to you. You probably have not read some of his post. |
