| Anti slip in mold? Hi, what's the normal way of creating an anti slip surface in respect to the mold itself. Is there normally a recess in the mold where a rubber textured section is added in or is there a textured surface in the mold with no rubber add in used? Thanks Splint |

| Splint, There are suppliers of non-skid patterns for use directly in the mold. They are permanently bonded in, you just spray the gelcoat in, and the pattern comes out in the part. Some builders use contrasting colors for the non-skid areas and the rest of the surface. Eric

| Thanks Eric, when you say they use contrasting colors i guess they would have to mask off the anti slip sections and spray on the gel coat then remove the masking and spray a gell coat on with a different tint. Is that how it's done? Thanks Splint |
