Alexseal High Build Primer - Roll and Tip

Can anybody provide some practical application notes on Roll and Tipping Alexseal High Build Primer?... I have read from several sources that it is much easier to sand than Awlgrip's competitive product, so I plan on procurring some. Would love to spray it, but the boat is currently located in a rack yard, so roller is my only option, and with that in mind wanted to see if anybody has some wisdom to offer.

Thanks.
