To kawabitti,
Catamaran is a very generic term.
There are 16 ft sailboats like Hobie Cats. 100 mph tunnel hull
power boats. And 400 ft long plus - Fast Ferries - capable of
carrying 500 tonnes at 35 knots.
- All referred to as catamarns.
What is the intent of your inquiry ?

I can email you a file for my 14.5 meter sailing catamaran if you want it. There are some renderings in the multihull sailboat gallery.

Are you using Blender? If so, I would like to have the Blender file of the cat ... without all of your work. Something that I could animate tied to a wave surface.

yipster,

I have no time or current skills to do it. But, it seems with Blender's animation and kinetic functions that it would be possible.

What would realy be cool is an alogrithm that could use the center of flotation, cg, beam, and wl to approximatly animate the motion of a hull on different waves.

I have a loaded build season coming up soon so maybe next winter I'll ... y'all know how that goes.
