Try the search function in the top blue line. Not "search this thread", just plain "search". Below is a thread on picklefork boats, the 13th post in that thread has links to books, there might be more stuff in the thread, it's pretty long.

looking for more around 20 feet and a v-8 inboard v-drive. anybody know of anything bigger. just looking for plans.

Popular Science or Popular Mechanics or Mechanics Illustrated or one a them publications built one to go along with the (then-new) V-6 Mercuries of (gasp!) 225 HP, along about 1977. I think if you're patient and troll through the "free boat plans" websites listed in the links on http://boatdesign.net/net, and are patient and just keep after it, you'll run across it eventually. IIRC, the thing was a true 3-point hydro picklefork, with options for tandem seating. It'd run about 85 MPH, which is just smoking along. I sure can't row that fast.
