btw,
I''m bulding a wooden boot, without stationary engine, wooden mast and I wonder how to protect crew, boot and circuit against lighting ? I heard about metal plates below water line. What is the best way to ground all 12V circuit . Do you know some tips in this case ?

You do not need to do anything, lighting will completely ignore your boat.

To avoid build-up of static electricity in extremely dry conditions, wire the 12V negative to a submerged metal object like a small zinc anode or a stainless steel plate.
