A problem solved

One of the (many) reccuring problems in designing electrical layouts for smaller yachts has recently been made very much easier by Xantrex. The Heart inverter/chargers now have a low amperage echo charger built into their units to keep a second (usually starting) bank charged while sitting idle. It reduces expenses on some layouts in eliminating isolators/ combiners or secondary chargers. Not a solution for all boats but great for particular usages.

Just thought I'd throw that out there for any of you who are designing a system right now.
One of the many things I discovered at IBEX this year. If you haven't been...save your money for next year. It is an avalanche of information that you cannot possibly take in, in the three days allotted.
