| Yo Now you are back to permanent mount? All this steam stuff would be permanent and take a lot more room and likely cost more than a little diesel genset. I don't offer them,I just know how to source items.Don't mind paying for things nor businesses making money, but when they take $2k worth of stuff, build a couple brackets and price it at $5-6k I get ticked. They were built in China anyways, now the new epa tier 4 model is out the older model clone engine can be bought for $300 out of China. If it were me doing it again,I'd buy 3 of them-take one and run it WOT to see how long it lasts. Check ebay, when they rebuild the Abrams tanks the kubota gensets often come up for sale,as this is what they use for power generation on board. DC fridges are very efficient these days

| Those greensteam engines appear very light weight and portable. Very cheap to build myself. I already have a chinese lathe, 10 inches between centers, 7 inch throw. Bought at Harbor Freight a dozen years ago. I'm still researching ideas. For a mini scotch boiler, a unitube rocket stove through a modifyed large pressure cooker. There was a stove once saw long time ago I'm seeking. Used water drip and waste oil drip, droplets falling together on a heated ignition point. Lt was called a Jet something. Be curious to combine the JET stove and the Rocket stove idea in a small stowable, portable boiler.

| Cook with the beer. http://www.beercook.com/ I suspect it will work with diesel but not sure because I haven't tried it. Might have to start out with a little alcohol to get it going.

| Here is a working model of a triple expansion, double acting, compound steam engine. Entirely too complicated for my purpose, but fascinating. Loved their "music" on the old steamers I sailed on. "Makin money, makin money, makin money, makin money,"
