looking for a schematic of a 6 volt system.

It's the same as 12V. Some differences you may find are external voltage regulators, generator instead of alternator and dynastart.

Tugg, they have several Chris Craft aficionado clubs on the Internet. Might be worthwhile checking these out for advice on old timers.
