yacht interior??

Hi everybody, I have graduated this semester from an architecture school in istanbul/Turkey. Somehow I got interested in yacht interior. As far as I read in this forum there are some schools and institutes of boat design. I wonder what about interiors? are there some schools or institutes for yacht interiors in the USA?

Hi, I know there is a master in Yacht Interior Design in Rome, the school is called IED and the site is www.ied.it
SOme details about the course:

School: IED Design
Course Type Master Advanced Study Program
Seat: Rome

Don't know anything about the school, a friend was studying fashion in the same school (in milano) and was not happy with it...
It's a big school though and well known in Italy.

ben virginia tech gemi insaa muh. mezunuyum. Amerika'da Westlawn'in disinda yacht uzerine egitim veren bir yer yok. Florida, NY, Rhode Island, Maine, Connecticut civarlarinda bazi yacht designerlar kendi ofisinde interior designer calistiriyor ve bunlar zamanla yat ustunde profesyonellesmis olduklari icin interior yacht designer gibi goruluyor. Sana tavsiyem onlarin yaninda staj yapman yada calisman olur. Bunun disinda bu isin egitimi bildigim kadariyla sadece Italya'da var. Ben su an ingiltere'de yat design okuyorum. Eger daha fazla bilgi almak istersen benimle kontakt kurabilirsin.

I believe that Westlawn offers a stand-alone course in Interior Design for Yachts. I have seen the book they use and it is pretty extensive. You should contact them to inquire. www.westlawn.org
