Training and Small Craft Data Two sources of small craft information/training: Online courses in a variety of subjects; http://www.emarinetraining.com/pages/2/index.htm I also got the collection of small craft papers from SNAME. There are about three hundred papers from 1985-2002. This is the flyer for buying them at the meeting, but I assume they will sell it by mail too. http://www.sname.org/newsletter/smallcraftflyer.pdf

Well, our esteemed Guest may be telling the truth. At least, when it comes to waterjet-powered boats. They suck, but then they blow it out their a**. <grin>

Of course, he might be much deeper into this planing hull theory stuff, what with the transitory high pressure and low pressure zones of the planing surface. One could, I suppose, consider that a low pressure area on the hull caused by hydrodynamic flow as a portion of the boat being in the condition of sucking. Clever fellow, this Guest. I'd like to see his math.
