a Naval Architect is a term used to explain a person who has to deal with all the affairs regading a ship.He must be artistic enough to produce concept design, analytical, he must be well versed with the Class and statutory bodies, he must know in and out of the vessel. This is very difficult, so most of them specialize themselves to a specific part, but keeping up a little knowledge of other things which they don't deal with.
But there are huge number of naval architects who so insane to attain relevant experience in all parts of ship design and constructions. They must be considered the role models in the industry.
