Require Information over Yacht Design

I wish to learn Yacht Design, which Auto Cad or other software do I have to concentrate on. If anyone has YDS Schools online or distance learning I would be very gratefull.

You can read this and search the forum as well,
MacNaughton vs. Westlawn

AutoCAD may be useful as a general drawing tool. Take look at NavalDesigner and ProLines and simmilar programs (demo version often for free) for hull design. Anyway, you should learn how to make a (pencil) sketch of a profile and body plan and estimate displacement etc.
Rhino is widely used for surface modelling.
