Program Recomendations

Currently I am studying Aerospace engineering at Illinois Tech. I'm in my 2nd year, and I'm a little too far into the program to make transfering practicle. So I am going to be getting my Bachelors here. After I get out of school here I want to get into a yacht design program somewhere. From what I've heard these are my options:

Grad school at: MIT, UMichigan, Southhampton (UK), AMC (Australia)
Correspondence at: Westlawn, YDS
Go to the Landing School, then go to Southhampton to get myself imersed in a growing sailing scene

If anyone has any ideas or coments as to the pros and cons of each of these options or any combination there of, it would be greatly appreciated.

Grad school at Michigan, UC Berkeley. UNO, or one of the others on your list. This will be the fastest and best for you, and you will actually have a chance to make a decent living.

However, don't just consider yacht design - I actually prefer the commercial / military side - there are many more opportunities, much more interesting technical problems, much better resources (I typically get to spend about $100K doing tank tests a year).
